This week, I have heard a lot of individuals talk about the chaos they are living in – thing is – it isn’t even their chaos!

I once heard the phrase – “Not my circus, not my monkey”. It kind of sums this whole concept up.

But we are human, and we have all done it at one time or another.

You get caught in it. We all do.

The simple truth is that we get caught up in other people’s drama to avoid our negative feelings and problems – that problem can also be boredom I should add!

Here’s the thing – if you are now aware of this and what you are doing – take a minute. Don’t let this pattern stop you from living your dreams, having the relationship you truly desire or friends who are uplifting.

Here’s what I have found in this often crazy world we live in – when we commit to a drama-free life, it’s not a boring life. On the other hand, it’s an amazing life.

“I teach people that no matter what the situation is, no matter how chaotic, no matter how much drama is around you, you can heal by your presence if you just stay within your center.”
– Deepak Chopra

In those moments, in those non-dram moments, you focus on YOUR stuff and stop judging others. You make time for YOUR dreams. You get to KNOW yourself.

You get to experience a different kind of drama, which is the drama of living your purpose.

So, at that moment you have just stepped back and realised you have a choice, don’t let another moment be wasted being caught up in what’s not important. It’s time to stay in your lane, work on yourself and go after those dreams.

Better still – REALLY FOCUS ON THE HEART DREAMS – they are the ones that REALLY lead you on a path of purpose.

Let me know how you are going to stay in your lane moving forward.

“So many people prefer to live in drama because it’s comfortable. It’s like someone staying in a bad marriage or relationship – it’s actually easier to stay because they know what to expect every day, versus leaving and not knowing what to expect.”
– Ellen DeGeneres
